Coro Hotel

We stayed a night in the Presto Suite here. The staff are very friendly and welcoming immediately helping you with your bags and the reception staff are helpful and clear as well. The suite itself is a very nice and pretty set of rooms with two bathrooms, two bedrooms and the large open plan kitchenette and lounge. The private pool outside is the selling point of the suite and we did use it but in all honesty, this pool needs to be heated to get more enjoyment out of it. The water was freezing no matter what time of day we got in. That made the pool a little disappointing in that sense. Another selling point was the Jacuzzi bath and that was definitely as nice as expected. The only downside with this was the waterfall shower definitely needs a limescale cleanout because water spewed out in all directions rather than being a comforting waterfall shower as described. The room service meals were really tasty but arrived a little colder than we'd have liked to the point that one of the dishes required microwaving (the room has a microwave luckily) and I personally question if the meals prices were worth it for what we got compared to other dishes during my travel in the Philippines but nonetheless they tasted good and the cheesecake desserts were delicious. The steak was a little bit of a let down considering it's price. The buffet breakfast was fairly good. A decent selection of foods but was definitely trying to cater for the western audience.

Modern and comfortable hotel with a 24hr spa. I stayed here for 2 nights before I flew out of Manila and it was a great end to my trip. I was able to get a massage and relax before my grueling flight. The price was incredible for what you get, especially if you book direct as you get extra vouchers and discounts. The rooftop bar and pool area is lovely, with a nice view over Makati, and the most friendly, welcoming and happy bartenders you will meet! I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

The wonderful arrangement and the utmost precision, and also the calm and comfortable lighting gives you a feeling of calm and comfort. As for the rooms, they are extremely clean, with a comfortable mattress, very clean furnishings, and also professionally designed, with simple, beautiful, uncomplicated décor, and layout that makes you feel at the level of five- or four-star hotel rooms, and they may be better, and this is a relative and varying matter. The room size is very reasonable depending on the number of people meaning that the room will be spacious. The bathrooms are spacious too , very clean, and tidy, including accessories, towels, and strong water flow when showering. In short, you will like it, all overlooking the main street and the area. Frankly speaking, this hotel pays significant attention to cleanliness and arrangement according to its classification, which I previously mentioned could surpass some of the hotels classified as five or four stars in this regard. As for the location, it is frankly located in the new makati at the famous area in a nice location on the main street. As for the room fare price, it is quite reasonable based on what I mentioned from my experience as a traveler compared with most of other hotels based on what you expect to get. For your information too, there is also a supermarket below the hotel that serves the residents of the area in general. Honestly, this hotel is worth a try. As for the service and reception, their treatment is sophisticated, polite, and the highest in morals and respect. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights in Coro Hotel situated in Makati City. Food, bars, convenience shops are all within walking distance. Friendly and welcoming staff especially a male staff named Joshua. The only downside was that the walls in between the hotel rooms were really thin hence we could hear loud noises coming from the other guests at Room 1108. It’s either that or we were just unlucky to have a bunch of hooligans next to our hotel room. However the hotel staffs were quick to action when we told them about this. Apart from that which was totally beyond the hotel’s control, our stay was a pleasant one. Thanks Coro Hotel!

We went outside early in the morning and informed the hotel not to clean the room, intending to request cleaning upon our return. When we came back around noon, we encountered a room attendant and requested replacement towels, but they only provided us with 2 big towels and none of the 2 small towels we needed. Subsequently, we called the help desk, who assured us they would follow up with the room attendant’s department. Despite our wait, the issue remained unresolved. When my Mom followed up, her frustration led the help desk to abruptly hang up the phone. It’s concerning that they couldn’t handle an irate customer and chose to disconnect instead.
